Hidden Bar in Sydney, Door Knock

Door Knock is a hidden bar in Sydney that offers a delightful escape from the bustling city streets. This bar, at the end of a very long corridor that seemed to lead nowhere, has the words “Welcome to Door Knock” written on the wall. Their are instructions to knock three times and push when the door unlocks. Behind the heavy door is a hidden bar and restaurant that feels like a well-kept secret.

The decor is dark and moody that adds to the hidden bar in Sydney and it’s charm. Though the food looked fantastic as it was being served to other patrons, we were there for the cocktails. They did not disappoint. The cocktail menu was impressive, offering a creative selection that catered to all tastes. I opted for the Outback Kolada, a creamy and indulgent mix of rum, wattleseed, and other rich ingredients that served as a perfect dessert in a glass. My friend chose the Take a Walk on the Southside, a refreshing blend of gin, honey, lime cordial, and mint that balanced sweetness with a crisp finish.

As we sipped our cocktails, we soaked in the cozy, intimate vibe of the hidden bar. The crowd leaned more mature, with a homely, relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. Door Knock has a unique, almost secretive allure that makes it feel like your own little discovery.

We absolutely loved our experience and will definitely be back. If you’re looking for a spot that combines a sense of mystery with excellent drinks and ambiance, Door Knock is a must-visit.
